My Diet Plan – one kilogram at a time!

Are you still thinking why you haven’t started up your diet yet? Are you still wondering why many people can do it and you can’t?

Trust me, I have been there too.

I have an overly sweet tooth. It was quite hard for me to focus on my diet plans and hit the gym. I believe, it is same for most of you. However, while beginning to diet, eat whatever you crave for. Do not stress out over what to eat and what not to eat. Take it slow. Secondly, try to hit the gym every day. Try to split your workout routine focusing on one part of the body each day. One day focus on upper body while on other day focus on lower body. That would help your muscles recover.

I have also come across many people asking if cardio can help lose fat. There is no simple answer to this. However, one cannot lose fat by just doing cardio and HIT programs in the gym. You need to combine cardio with a proper workout. Cardio, however, is a high-intensity fitness training that is required if you are training yourself to be an athlete. Cardio is like pushing your stamina higher so that you could perform your sport better.

It does not mean that you totally skip cardio. Add 30-minute cardio session every day along with the workout. Try this for 4 weeks. You will feel the difference. You will psychologically feel the difference and feel like you are getting back in shape.

Now that you have psychologically trained your mind to hit the gym and enjoy doing so. Here are some tricks that our mind plays that deviate us from our goal.

What the fuck?

Yes totally. Our minds can either fuck up everything or on the other hand reverb positive vibes. Once you train yourself to think that you are getting in shape, you will start craving it more. No, not the sugar-craving but craving and falling for the sculpt in your body.

Gotcha! Is that the secret?

Yes, better to think that way. Here is my own story of my 8-week transformation from being overweight to a muscular and lean. By overweight, I mean I was around 70 kg and after my first week, I was able to shred 1 kg. Which is quite good. Now, I am 60kg with an extremely good physique. Believe me or not, I still eat whatever I liked. I eat croissants and donuts every day.

Seriously!

This is when I figured out that my mind came into the effing play. When my mind got involved it made me give up sugar. I started drinking coffees without sugar, I reduced my donut intake to twice in a week, and slowly started reducing unhealthy fattening products. When you strain your body and try in the gym, hitting hard at the cardio sessions and sweating your ass off that’s when you feel the real pain which will slowly transform to be your favorite drug. Yes, whoever hits the gym love to sweat and work their ass off. After my 4 weeks of training and dieting, I was able to see the change in my physique. That’s when you get highly motivated. That’s when you strive to achieve the body you always dreamt of.

So, what are you waiting for! Just go and take up your first initiative. Start hitting the gym for a week and that’s it, baby. Looks like you’re already there because you have read the entire post which speaks about it. Your mind has already started its job. So, when are you going to start!
